Teacher dies at the hand of student - Alabama
This happened about 30 minutes from where I grew up in Alabama. My parents still live there and my heart goes out to the family of Mrs. Jester, the students of Hatton Elementary School, and the people that live in the area. You never think that school violence will attack where you live, but I guess it does. I thought I was in more danger working in Arlington, Texas than a teacher in north Alabama. I guess I was wrong. My prayers are with the Jester family during this time of need.
