Teacher Attire Becoming a Touchy Topic
Teachers are expected to bear long days, challenging students and demanding parents. Now, apparently, some teachers are baring too much of themselves. School boards and superintendents increasingly are pursuing dress codes for teachers. At issue is the same kind of questionable attire most often associated with students.

Today was the first day we went to go sell the new puppies. The litter is finally 6 weeks old and they are ready to go to their new homes. Momma puppy is very ready for all the babies to go to their new homes, but I am not. It’s a sad day when they leave. I feel like I am giving away one of my own kids. The babies will be happy, I know that. I just have to make it through the holiday and not be sad!

Well, there is a marathon of Poirot on, so I am needed downstairs. My little gray cells are all thunk out for today, so I am going to see if my spot on the couch is available.

Oh YES!!!! This was fantastic. My hubby and I just got back from the 430 showing. Thankfully, no teenagers in site, so I got to enjoy the movie in peace and quiet. Bale was a great Batman. Probably the best except for Michael Keaton in the first one. CB comes in a close 2nd though. I thought Katie Holmes did good too. This movie offered a lot of background and to why Wayne became Batman. I loved it!!! What more can I say? Way to go Warner Bros…good job!

I thought Tom Cruise did an okay job. Dakota Fanning was great! I can’t believe she is so young because she plays quite the grown up. The “Tripods” were so so. I was expecting them to be more human-like. The aliens were not very human-like either. Lots of blowing up stuff, which was way cool! I thought the ending was kinda sappy, but isn’t that how the first one ended???
